Following a three decade career in public education, as a teacher and principal for the Los Angeles Unified School District, Bonnie Colgan began her new career as a professional award-winning landscape and wildlife photographer in California's majestic Eastern Sierra mountains.
Since childhood, she has been guided by Aristotle's quote, "Where there is no vision, the people perish." It is etched in granite above the entrance to the grammar school she attended in Hermosa Beach, California. She continues to extend and interpret its
meaning with her photography. Her goal is to inspire, amuse and gladden through the focused vision of her Nikon photographic images.
With an ever expanding portfolio, Bonnie has captured international award-winning Jazz festival images, breathtaking landscape scenes, striking wildlife moments, dramatic regatta events, and in addition to travel locations , many of the amazing wonders around us.
Her commercial and residential wall decor, as well as custom photo greeting cards, are available by personal consultation and online here.
